Looking for an easy, delicious way to support your hormones? These tea recipes boost a woman’s energy, promote balanced hormonal cycles and levels.
Red Raspberry Leaf:
This herb is an all-around excellent herb to use for women at any life stage, especially during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It is rich in chelated iron (easily absorbed), stimulates the flow of breast milk, and facilitates the mother’s post-birth recovery.
Peppermint:
Peppermint is an all-over body strengthener and cleanser. Aids in digestion and is safe to use during pregnancy.
Alfalfa Leaf and Nettle Leaf:
Can guard against excessive bleeding due to the high vitamin K content. These herbs will improve kidney function and help prevent hemorrhoids. Nettle leaf is high in iron, helps combat fatigue, and is an anti-inflammatory.
Fenugreek and Blessed Thistle:
Both of these herbs are known as galactogogues, meaning that they help support breast milk production. Fenugreek balances blood sugar, lowers cholesterol, and contains choline. Blessed Thistle is known to aid in lactation and encourage milk production. It is also beneficial for relieving gas, and supports the liver, gallbladder, stomach, and intestines.
