I’m Katherine Leonard Carvlin, a naturopathic doctor and holistic nutritionist focused on helping men and women revitalize their health and make sustainable lifestyle changes. My passion for holistic health was sparked by my interest in organic permaculture and concern for the ever increasing toxicity of this planet. Nourishing your body with whole foods free of harmful chemicals is the foundation for a healthy and happy lifestyle.
Optimal health is achieved through more than just eating healthy: it is about total body wellness, a whole-lifestyle approach. As a holistic nutritionist, I work towards helping people rejuvenate their lifestyles, detoxify their bodies, and incorporate healthy practices in all aspects of their lives. I focus on a person’s unique biochemical individuality and design personalized programs consisting of whole and organic foods and healthy lifestyle practices. I have a particular interest in working with couples looking to conceive so that they can have happy, healthy children.
Naturopathic medicine emphasizes prevention and the self-healing process through natural therapies. I use my background in holistic nutrition, combined with the therapies I learned about in medical school (botanical medicine, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, traditional Chinese and Indian medicine, and conventional therapies) to guide my patients to better health.
